Manufacturing Coatings Technician

**Job Description:**
As a Manufacturing Coatings Technician, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces of parts, assemblies, and finished products by cleaning, stripping, abrading, sanding, masking, and stenciling. You will also select and mix finishing materials, applying them to products using paint, acrylic, varnish, enamel, lacquer, and stain.
You will work from blueprints and process sheets to develop finishing processes, applications, and techniques where thickness tolerances are critical. This role requires a strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes and written instructions.
**Requirements:**
A High School Diploma or GED and at least 4 years of experience in a related field are typically required for this position. You must be able to lift 20-40lbs and have good written and verbal communication skills.
