DSJ Global, is looking for a VP of Procurement for a leading Construction/Building Materials company based in **Tampa, FL**. This opportunity is being offered as remote and offers a competitive salary package starting at $200000 per year.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective strategies for sourcing raw and finished Building Materials.
  • Lead the identification, evaluation, and selection of suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability criteria. Cultivate strong relationships with key suppliers to drive collaboration and innovation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including manufacturing, finance, and quality assurance, to align procurement activities with business needs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in procurement-related projects and initiatives to drive operational excellence and innovation.
  • Manage supplier relationships while maintaining cost efficiency
  • Provide leadership to the procurement team ensuring that all objectives are met timely
  • Effectively negotiate contracts with vendors/suppliers


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of management experience in procurement or strategic sourcing within Construction/Building Materials space.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and executing procurement strategies that deliver cost savings and drive operational efficiency.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management and supplier relationship management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
