Assistant Director of Human Resources

We have an immediate need for an Assistant Director of Human Resources at a leading non profit organization conveniently located in center city Philadelphia. This is a full time direct hire opportunity and will work a hybrid schedule.
Job Duties Include:
- Assists the Director of Human Resources in updating, developing, and implementing Human Resource Policies and Procedures.
- Assists the Director of HR in overseeing Talent Acquisition Process.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop, update and revise job descriptions.
- Assists the Director in managing the work processes performed by the HR Team, and to ensure that the organization is in compliance with federal, state and local employment laws at all times.
- Provides coaching and consulting services to management team, including division heads, directors and managers/supervisors to assist them with Performance Management, Employee Relations and Employee Development/Training.
- Researches, develops, writes and implements human resource policies and procedures.
- Manages health, safety, including applicable OSHA and ADA regulations.
- Participates in the performance evaluation process, and evaluates and reviews the benefits and compensation packages.
Job Requirements Include:
- A minimum of 7-10 years HR management experience.
- Excellent management skills.
- Knowledge of the various Human Resources Disciplines
- Exemplary written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a Team with strong team leadership skills.
- Ability to exercise good judgment.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills
- B.A. or B.S. Degree required
- Master’s degree in Human Resource Management a plus.
- HRCI certification required: SPHR or PHR
- Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
- HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems
- Spreadsheet and database programs.
