Job Purpose:

The Key Account Manager at Tensik Industries is a strategic position tasked with forging and nurturing long-term relationships with major companies within the concrete industry, including prominent ready mix producers. This role is crucial in understanding the specific needs and business dynamics of top-tier clients and delivering tailored solutions that enhance both client satisfaction and company revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain deep relationships with key decision-makers within large and strategically important companies. Understand the nuances of each client’s business to better serve their unique needs.
  • Comprehensive Product/Service Presentation: Utilize in-depth knowledge of Tensik Industries' products and services to effectively address client challenges and opportunities. Craft compelling value propositions that resonate with client objectives.
  • Expert Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations that balance client desires with Tensik Industries' capabilities and business goals, ensuring profitable and sustainable contracts. Manage complex sales cycles from initiation to closure, and continue support through the post-sale process.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution: Work in conjunction with the marketing and product development teams to design and implement comprehensive sales strategies that penetrate target markets more effectively.
  • Internal Coordination and Leadership: Act as the liaison between key clients and internal teams. Ensure that all teams are aligned with the client's objectives and timelines. Mentor junior sales staff and lead by example in all areas of client interaction.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: Monitor market trends and client engagement metrics to adjust strategies as necessary. Provide detailed reports and insights to senior management that influence policy and strategy development.
  • Client Advocacy: Act as the voice of the client within Tensik Industries. Advocate for client needs and work collaboratively to address any issues or concerns that arise during the partnership.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven track record of managing key accounts within the concrete or construction industry, with a focus on fostering long-term business relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close deals with high-level decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information in an understandable manner.
  • Strategic thinker with an analytical mind, adept at working through complex business scenarios to achieve results.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and client confidence in all phases of the customer journey.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
