The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a dedicated Licensed Specialist in School Psychology to join our team in Houston, TX, in providing comprehensive psychological services to students in charter schools.  This is a part time, hybrid position.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting psychoeducational assessments, providing individual and group counseling, collaborating with teachers and parents to support students' academic and social-emotional development, and contributing to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs).


Requirements:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • State license or certification as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students' academic, social, and emotional functioning
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students with social-emotional or behavioral concerns
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' academic and social-emotional development
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and review individualized education plans (IEPs) 
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
