We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Nurse to join our team at Rêve Preparatory Charter School. As a School Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide healthcare services to students and staff, including immunizations and health assessments.
- Develop and implement health plans for students with specific health needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote a healthy and safe learning environment.
- Provide health education and counseling to students, parents, and staff.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
- Participate in school meetings and events as needed.
- High school diploma or associate's degree in a health-related field.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-through on all activities.
- Experience working with underserved communities.
- Wonderful bedside manner.
- Ability to take constructive feedback and quickly incorporate it.
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
