As a rapidly growing company, we are looking for a Director of IT to lead and transform our technology strategy, ensuring our infrastructure and systems align with our business goals and support our growth.

The Director of IT oversees the technology strategy, infrastructure, and operations for all of our retail and horticulture divisions. This role requires a visionary leader with strong technical skills who can drive digital transformation, enhance cybersecurity measures, and optimize IT services across the organization. The Director of IT collaborates with senior leadership to implement cutting-edge solutions that improve efficiency, scalability, and security.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Leadership ??? Developing and executing the IT strategy in alignment with the company???s business objectives. Leading the digital transformation initiatives to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
  • Technology infrastructure ??? Overseeing the design, implementation, and management of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud services, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
  • Cybersecurity ??? Implementing and maintaining robust cybersecurity measures to protect company data and systems.
  • Team Management ??? Leading and mentoring the IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and professional development.
  • Vendor management ??? overseeing relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and support.
  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity ??? Developing and maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity plans, ensuring the organization is prepared for and can recover from unexpected events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor???s degree in related field, and 5+ years of technical operations management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Experience with MS M365 and cloud computing preferred.
  • Experience with AI and Automation preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
