Job Summary:

This person would serve as an experienced sales development professional that serves a known industry and the end users by identifying their needs; recommends product use based on technical discovery and validates in field product performance. This position reports to the Sr. Product Manager and will work from the Menomonee Falls facility and from home.


Compensation Structure:

-$75k -85k range base and have a variable plan for commission somewhere between $25k -30k.

-$6k car allowance

-Compensation equals to $110k- 115k range including commissions and the car allowance.

The person will also get the standard IRS mileage reimbursement for business use of their car.


Essential Job Functions (Job-Specific Knowledge/Skills)

  • Interface with new and existing accounts to help build the company's product’s market presence in North America.
  • Communicate product specification changes & interface with manufacturing and engineering on sales plans/troubleshooting.
  • Develop a technical product and market understanding to effectively support remote field team.
  • Develop new relationships with operations and maintenance accounts.
  • Work in conjunction with Management to build a comprehensive strategic and tactical Sales plan in order to achieve new results and efficiencies for Sales.
  • Review Pricing & Costing for major products.
  • Analyze market trends / shifts; provide market intelligence & data on competitive activity.
  • Presentation / participation in trade association events.


Qualifications (Expertise in Discipline)

  • College degree in a technical field or sales and marketing
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in technical sales with an understanding of long sales cycles
  • Experience with development-heavy sales disciplines, strategies and techniques
  • Familiarity with electrical components, AC/DC motors and good overall mechanical experience is a plus
  • Aptitude/willingness for learning technical specs and application of the product for testing & troubleshooting
  • Travel 50% of normal business days including overnight travel (air and auto) primarily in assigned region
  • Valid / or ability to acquire valid passport required
  • Must possess valid driver’s license and have acceptable driving record
