As a Defined Contribution/Workplace Platform Quality Engineering Chapter Leader, you blend deep knowledge of quality engineering practices and strong engineering skills with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing associates. You are deeply committed to improving the value delivered to our customers. In an agile structure you will collaborate with other leaders to establish the standards for your chapter, influence the strategic decisions and build solutions in your expertise. You will directly manage a team of chapter members who primarily work within autonomous squads across product areas yet report directly to you. You are dedicated to helping them grow and develop in their knowledge area and ensure alignment on the \u201Chow\u201D of the work they perform. You are committed to developing your own expertise and knowledge to bring the latest thinking to your role to empower others with that knowledge.\u00A0

Seasoned technical people leader focused on leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing people and teams to accelerate and achieve increased skill proficiency\u00A0
Deep technical expertise with confirmed ability to drive technical solutions and automation frameworks/pipelines such as Selenium, Playwright, Rest Assured, Karate, etc.\u00A0
Investment as an Agile change agent to continuously improve and encourage an agile way of working\u00A0
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain strong multi-functional partnerships and relationships at all levels of the organization\u00A0
Proven track record as an outspoken peer leader with peer coaching and strong communications and presentation skills working on collaborative teams to deliver high quality data solutions.\u00A0
Uses a data-focused approach to decision making, in day-to-day leadership and strategic tradeoff analyses\u00A0
Practical experience with quality engineering fundamentals such as test automation, data virtualization, and CI/CD integration\u00A0

7+ years of Technical Excellence: Participate in building the culture of outstanding software engineering practices for the modern Cloud platforms\u00A0

BS or MS degree in a technical field such as computer science/engineering or related field\u00A0
Software testing certifications preferred (ISTQB, CSTE, CAST, ICP-ATA, etc.)\u00A0

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
