Partners Personnel is currently sourcing candidates for our client in Carlisle PA for a Human Resources Manager. This position will be a Contract only(LOA) for @ 2 1/2 months with option to extend. Our client is a logistics company, and the facility is operating 24/7 - this role will be on site daily, Monday-Friday with an 8-5 shift. The selected candidate will provide human resource leadership, strategic partnership to internal team and employees. Candidates must have a background and experience working as an HR Manager and preferably in a logistics, distribution, manufacturing or similar business that is an industrial/plant type of business.

Essential Duties

  • Ensuring the policies, processes and regulations are adhered to in a consistent and timely manner
  • Coordinate full cycle recruiting process including scheduling interviews, selecting candidates for hourly and salaried positions
  • Employee relations including investigations, resolutions, problem solving, and ensuring fair, consistent, processes in accordance with company policies and values. Support a culture of positive and supportive engagement
  • Manage HRIS and administrative tasks, proper and accurate data entry, and reporting. Review reports and dashboards and maintain
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of HR Systems and operational systems in the department
  • Remain up to date in knowledge of legal/regulatory employment law and requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ degree required and SHRM or HRCI certification strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 4-6 years in HR Management position with an hourly workforce
  • Strong interpersonal, communication both verbal and written skills. Ability to collaborate with exempt and non-exempt employees
  • MS Office and all Google platforms required
  • Once selected, available to start quickly and work full contract estimated 2 1/2 months with possible extension to 3 months
