About the Role

The State of Indiana is seeking a highly skilled Correctional Retention Specialist to join our team at the Indiana Department of Correction. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing effective employee retention programs to promote a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement retention programs to enhance employee engagement and job satisfaction.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and best practices in employee retention.
  • Collaborate with departmental stakeholders to design and implement training programs and initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees and management, responding to inquiries and concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports related to program activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in employee retention, human resources, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with employees and management.
  • Strong knowledge of employee retention best practices and trends.
