Job Summary: We are seeking an Administrative Assistant for Equity/Inclusion to provide support to the Office of the Director of the Women's and Gender Resource Center at Dickinson College. The successful candidate will perform varied advanced secretarial and administrative work, including providing support for the Women's and Gender Resource Center and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Director of the Women's and Gender Resource Center and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.
- Assist with the coordination of events, programs, and initiatives related to diversity and inclusion.
- Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other records as needed.
- Prepare and edit reports, presentations, and other materials as required.
- Provide general administrative support to the office, including answering phones, responding to emails, and performing other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a higher education setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with a regular schedule. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced office environment and may be required to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
