Job Summary

As a Business Development Executive, you will be pivotal in driving our business forward by identifying new opportunities, building strong relationships with clients in new and existing industrial markets. These markets include but are not limited to power, metals, pulp and paper, and chemicals.


You will be responsible for promoting our construction services and positioning our company as a top choice in the market. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to significantly impact a growing company.


Key Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Building: Identify and develop relationships with key decision-makers in target companies and industries (e.g., real estate developers, architects, property managers) to generate leads and secure new business opportunities.
  • Market Research & Strategy Development: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. Develop and implement business development strategies to expand our client base.
  • Networking & Representation: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to represent the company and identify potential business leads.
  • Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring smooth transitions to project management teams.
  • Partnership Development: Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to enhance service offerings and market reach.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the construction industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the construction industry, including market trends, industry players, and construction processes.
  • Sales Skills: Proven track record of successful sales, client acquisition, and contract negotiations.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers.
  • Networking: A strong network of industry contacts and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to meet client needs.
  • Self-Motivation: Highly motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
