We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in the Manufacturing industry. This contract-to-hire role requires a dynamic individual who can handle a variety of tasks in our fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative support, adept at managing inventory, proficient in ISO audits, and comfortable working in a manufacturing setting. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of MS Excel and MS Word. The candidate must have at least 2 years of relevant experience, particularly in handling administrative and clerical duties, shipping, and creating purchase orders.
Responsibilities:
As an Administrative Assistant, you will:
1. Provide comprehensive administrative support to the team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and handling correspondence.
2. Manage inventory control, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the tracking and distribution of materials.
3. Conduct ISO audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
4. Operate in a manufacturing environment, adhering to safety protocols and contributing to operational efficiency.
5. Handle shipping tasks, including coordinating with vendors and carriers, preparing shipping documents, and tracking shipments.
6. Create and manage purchase orders, liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
7. Perform a variety of admin and clerical duties as needed, such as data entry, filing, and record keeping.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role, within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
3. Experience in inventory control and ISO audits a plus.
4. Familiarity with the operations and safety protocols of a manufacturing environment.
5. Proven experience in shipping and creating purchase orders.
6. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
8. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
