WEC Business Services LLC, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking an IT Applications Analyst - Systems Support in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location. This position offers flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site) with time spent in the Milwaukee office. 

This is a job family (Associate IT Applications Analyst/ IT Applications Analyst/Senior IT Applications Analyst) posting where the experience of the selected candidate will determine the level offered. 

Job Summary

As an IT Applications Analyst focusing on systems support, you will work on software applications, databases, deliverables and issues of a defined scope leveraging established patterns. You will follow company policies and practices to develop technical solutions.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provides daily support to systems, software applications, databases or tools. 
  • Analyzes error conditions and expedite problem resolution. 
  • Analyzes business requirements and data to provide recommendations on document management solutions. 
  • Implements and maintains security setups and maintenance within document management systems. 
  • Designs, modifies, develops, writes, implements, and tests SharePoint workflows. 
  • Provides instruction and guidance on SharePoint metadata, library and site design. 
  • Production support, troubleshooting applications, interacting with clients and vendors. 
  • Provides technical assistance on projects. 
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, MIS, or Engineering. In lieu of Bachelor's Degree, successful completion of a certified Application Development Apprenticeship will also be considered. (May 2024 Graduates are eligible to apply.)
  • Strong technical understanding of application development practices, and analytical/troubleshooting skills. 
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues to determine root cause.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong customer service skills to act as liaison between IT and business clients. 
  • Ability to present technical information to non-technical users both in small and large groups. 
  • Ability to understand technical environments supporting document management solutions. 
  • Experience in the design of information architecture, administration, training, and support of document management systems. 
  • Experience building SharePoint workflows. 
  • Understanding of document management best practices. 
  • Knowledge of SharePoint.
