Job Overview

We have a new opportunity for an Associate IT Applications Specialist - Engineering Applications to join our team. This is an onsite role working at our office in Milwaukee, WI. As a Technical Analyst specializing in Engineering, you will play a crucial role in configuring, customizing and supporting Engineering applications. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, developers, and architects to gather requirements, implement configurations, and optimize the functionality of Engineering solutions to meet business needs, as well as supporting business users' technical needs.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Configure and administer Engineering applications to support business requirements and objectives.
  • Collaborate with business analysts to gather and analyze requirements for Engineering solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and configuration settings.
  • Perform system configuration, testing, and validation to ensure the accuracy and functionality of Engineering solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and errors.
  • Document configuration changes, technical specifications, and system configurations for reference and future maintenance.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and business analysts, to deliver Engineering solutions.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Engineering Systems.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, information science or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in Engineering Systems support.
  • Experience with configuration tools and scripting languages used for customizing and extending packaged applications (e.g., Adobe, Salesforce).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
