SARA is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner in our Colorado Springs, CO location to lead our efforts in ensuring that our employees feel heard and valued. In this role, you will be at the forefront of overseeing key programs that enhance performance management and employee engagement. In this role, you will collaborate with leaders across the company, providing expert guidance on employee relations, leave management and training matters.


Core Responsibilities:

Performance Management & Employee Relations:

  • Partner with leaders to administer all stages of the performance management process
  • Measure and monitor data related to performance and terminations
  • With guidance from the Leadership team, develops and oversees SARA’s Performance Management & appraisal processes
  • With leadership guidance, provide counseling and coaching to managers on employee conflict resolution, performance management and/or termination
  • Conduct thorough, effective, and unbiased investigations in accordance with company policies and federal/state regulations and procedures
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned

Leave Management:

  • Plays a vital role in shaping an exceptional employee experience by overseeing critical programs like leave management and accommodation
  • Lead the administration of leave programs (FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Comp) with a focus on ensuring employees are supported during critical life events
  • Work cross-functionally to harmonize HR processes, while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years’ progressive experience in the human resources field
  • Strong interpersonal communication, outstanding ability to influence and build relationships, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Possesses strong analytical skills to conduct analysis and develop recommendations, demonstrating organization and problem-solving skills
  • US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance
  • May require light physical effort, involving standing, sitting and use of hands while performing duties, carrying or lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Working environment is indoor, moderately quiet, reasonably clean, well-lighted and well-ventilated

Pay Range

Salary at SARA is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $89,000 to $110,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of SARA’s total compensation package for employees. Positions are on-site, unless indicated otherwise.
