Project Controls Cost Scheduler

Job Summary
The Project Controls Cost Scheduler supports field-based operations on large-term projects performing a number of functions including: cost tracking, schedule creation and maintenance, change order management, field reporting, quantitative analysis, database management, drafting and reviewing job cost reports, and helping to maintain customer and vendor files.
Responsibilities
- Maintain change order log.
- Create, update and manage project schedules.
- Generate and audit monthly cost reports.
- Review and approve project invoices.
- Monitor field timekeeping.
- Generate daily/weekly/monthly field reports for clients to monitor labor, equipment and materials.
- Maintain equipment tracking logs.
- Maintain purchase order log with relevant approval.
- Advise on coding and processing for vendor invoices as needed.
- Coordinate with the Client, Project Engineer, Accounting, and vendors to gather necessary information.
- Excellent customer service skills as a key representative of the company to clients.
- Assist in other work areas/task as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years related work experience
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite-Particularly Excel
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Projects/Primavera P6
- Valid State ID, Driver’s License or government-issued ID
- Must have strong time management and multitasking abilities
- Must thrive in solving complex problems involving various sources of information
- Good communication skills, ability to speak, read and write English
- Ability to adhere to strict policy and procedures per company and OSHA requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- SAP Crystal Reports experience
