Job Summary

The Project Controls Cost Scheduler supports field-based operations on large-term projects performing a number of functions including: cost tracking, schedule creation and maintenance, change order management, field reporting, quantitative analysis, database management, drafting and reviewing job cost reports, and helping to maintain customer and vendor files.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain change order log.
  • Create, update and manage project schedules.
  • Generate and audit monthly cost reports.
  • Review and approve project invoices.
  • Monitor field timekeeping.
  • Generate daily/weekly/monthly field reports for clients to monitor labor, equipment and materials.
  • Maintain equipment tracking logs.
  • Maintain purchase order log with relevant approval.
  • Advise on coding and processing for vendor invoices as needed.
  • Coordinate with the Client, Project Engineer, Accounting, and vendors to gather necessary information.
  • Excellent customer service skills as a key representative of the company to clients.
  • Assist in other work areas/task as required.


Required Qualifications

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years related work experience
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite-Particularly Excel
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Projects/Primavera P6
  • Valid State ID, Driver’s License or government-issued ID
  • Must have strong time management and multitasking abilities
  • Must thrive in solving complex problems involving various sources of information
  • Good communication skills, ability to speak, read and write English
  • Ability to adhere to strict policy and procedures per company and OSHA requirements


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • SAP Crystal Reports experience
