We are on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position in the Manufacturing industry where you will be responsible for ensuring optimal functionality of all our industrial equipment and systems. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail. With your expertise and commitment, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and longevity of our manufacturing equipment and processes.

Responsibilities:

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, your duties will include:

1. Performing routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly and efficiently.

2. Inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing malfunctioning equipment and systems.

3. Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

4. Diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing and making adjustments.

5. Performing a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.

6. Using a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.

7. Installing new equipment and systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing structures.

8. Detecting faulty operations, defective material and reporting those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.

9. Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas.

10. Working collaboratively in a team to enhance productivity and workplace atmosphere.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

1. A high school diploma or GED. A 2-year technical degree is preferred.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or in a similar role in the Manufacturing industry.

3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS.

4. Experience with forklift operation.

5. Expertise in welding and fabrication.

6. The ability to read and interpret blueprints.

7. Experience in troubleshooting and calibrating equipment.

8. Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

9. The ability to lift up to 40lbs.

10. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to equipment maintenance.

11. Excellent team player with strong communication skills.

12. Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of accuracy in all tasks.

13. A commitment to safety and quality in all work performed.
