Senior Information Technology Manager

Duties:
- Lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management to drive high levels of productivity and employee engagement.
- Develop and implement an IT strategy aligned with the company’s overall objectives, ensuring technology initiatives support and enhance business processes and goals
- Communicate strategy to personnel, operations, and leadership to ensure alignment
- Grow the breadth and depth of department expertise to meet short and long-term company objectives
- Serve as champion for the management, governance, and quality of data as well as for vendor relationships
- Maintain ongoing knowledge of industry trends and ability to utilize that knowledge to determine the most efficient ways to meet business needs
- Regularly engage with leadership to foster trust and cultivate strong relationships
- Serve as trusted advisor across the business, providing strategic guidance and insights on technology-related matters.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, systems, and software applications of corporate and site locations.
- Oversee hardware and software deployment management.
- Ensure capabilities are in place to protect sensitive information and system-crucial data
- Lead overall Application management.
- Lead overall assessment & mitigation of IT risks.
- Oversee planning and managing disaster recovery.
- Establish and enforce IT security policies for data access, devices, incident response, and other security challenges to ensure compliance and alignment with best practices.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry, evaluating their potential impact on the business and making recommendations for adoption with best practices.
- Responsible for preparing and presentation of the global technology budget. Coordinating with appropriate company leaders on IT budget allocations.
- Responsible for budgeting and calculating the ROI of IT systems and risk management.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive experience, with proven track record of success
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related discipline is required.
- Technical certifications a plus (i.e., PMP, ITIL, CISSP)
- Ability to think and plan both strategically and tactically
- Proven track record of driving strategic IT initiatives and delivering measurable business results.
- Budget management skills
- Technology team leadership experience
- Current with technology innovation trends, applying value-add solutions with the highest ROI
- Strong interpersonal & communications skills with the ability to adapt to change.
- Extensive knowledge of server and networking technologies
- Experience with various software application, hardware and operating systems. Yardi experience a Plus
