Our client is looking for a Technical Project Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Execution:

· Lead the planning, execution, and closure of IT Field Services projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

· Contribute to the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against milestones.

· Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

· Travel may be required to oversee project deployments or meet with clients/vendors.

· Assist with logistics for equipment and facility readiness.

 

2. Resource Management:

· Allocate resources effectively to meet project requirements and optimize utilization.

· Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

· Monitor resource allocation and adjust as necessary to mitigate risks and address project constraints.

· Conduct training and orientations for project resources.

3. Risk Management:

· Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project outcomes.

· Proactively address issues and obstacles that arise during project execution, ensuring timely resolution.

· Monitor project performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed to stay on track.

4. Quality Assurance:

· Establish and enforce quality standards for IT Field Services deliverables, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and customer requirements.

· Conduct regular quality reviews and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure customer satisfaction.

5. Communication and Stakeholder Management:

· Serve as the point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and risks.

· Facilitate effective communication between cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and alignment.

· Manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns in a timely and professional manner.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

· Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.

· Generate regular progress reports for stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and upcoming milestones.

· Capture lessons learned and best practices to inform future project execution and improve organizational processes.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.

· Experience in IT Field Services or related areas.

· Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and systems integration.

· Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.

· Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

· Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
