Excellent oral and written communications skills including the ability to clearly articulate computer and information technology concepts to a varied audience

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage multiple schedules and events, and interface with other organizations in a manner that exemplified personal and professional integrity

Ability to obtain federal security clearance

Grants Project Specialist Job Responsibilities:

Coordination and management of cybersecurity training and initiatives

Develop new outreach initiatives and public awareness cyber campaigns

Serve as intelligence-sharing conduit for and between partners

Attendance at all department-related meetings with partners

Increase the visibility of the department within the community

Serve as the primary point of contact for developing new and fostering current public/private partnerships

Planning and organization of regularly scheduled department meetings

Coordination and development of department-related documentation (i.e. standard operating procedures, memorandums of understanding, etc.)

Proficiency in Department of Justice grant requirements, systems, and reporting, including familiarity with Grants Management System

Sustainment of current grant funding, including quarterly reporting, continuation proposals, general accounting, and budgetary changes

Coordination with the Central Management Office regarding grant funding, procurement, and documentation

Responsible for finding and authoring new funding opportunities that fit within the scope of task force mandates

Responsible for coordination of task force travel and scheduling
