Position Summary


The Real Estate Paralegal will oversee and facilitate critical projects spanning various practice areas, such as general legal operations, corporate governance, real estate acquisition, development and financing, intellectual property, and records management. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping and expanding the position, actively contributing to the enhancement of our team's effectiveness. Collaborating closely with the entire team and other stakeholders, you will drive efficiency improvements and deliver essential paralegal support to the organization.


Responsibilities

Review and Closing Transactions:

  • Diligently review and finalize title and closing transactions.
  • Summarize and organize legal documents for clarity and efficiency.

Legal Document Management:

  • Proofread, edit, and format legal documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail throughout the process.

Legal Research and Analysis:

  • Analyze corporate legal and regulatory sources, including articles, codes, rules, and decisions as needed.
  • Coordinate and summarize the production of third-party records in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Document Preparation and Interpretation:

  • Prepare informational memoranda summarizing document analysis.
  • Ensure timely delivery and interpretation of legal documents to meet client needs.

Support for Attorneys:

  • Provide consistent and efficient support to attorney(s) in all legal matters.
  • Conduct precise reviews of legal and regulatory sources to inform decision-making.

Loan Document Management:

  • Ensure timely production of loan documents to facilitate transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records and preparation of depositions and subpoenas in accordance with regulations.



Qualifications

  • Legal Assistant (CLA); Paralegal Certificate (preferred); Notary (preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including SharePoint, Excel, and Word
  • Several years of experience in the legal field
  • Leasing experience preferred
