Sales Engineer For PTs

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electrical Engineering and 3–5 years of proven sales experience in transformers and reactors, including power transformers, distribution transformers (oil-immersed and dry-type), and special transformers (EAF, LF, converter transformers, etc.). Experience with HV products such as circuit breakers, disconnector switches, and surge arresters will be considered a plus. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid arrangement, focusing on driving sales growth and establishing a strong market presence in the USA.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 3–5 years of sales experience in the transformers and reactors sector
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a technical environment
- Experience working with industrial customers, utilities, or EPC contractors is a significant advantage
- Experience with HV products such as circuit breakers, disconnector switches, and surge arresters is a plusProficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite
- Highly motivated by achieving order intake targets and expanding the customer base
- Customer- and results-oriented, with a strong drive for business success
- Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and resilience in complex sales processes
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel frequently for customer visits and business development
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Identify and target potential customers, including utilities, industrial clients (steel, cement, etc.), and EPC contractors
- Promote and sell a wide range of transformer products, including: Power Transformers (25 MVA and above)/Distribution Transformers (oil-immersed and dry-type)/Special Transformers (EAF, LF, converter, and rectifier transformers)/Shunt and Series Reactors
- Prepare tailored sales proposals, quotations, and presentations to meet customer needs
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, consultants, and stakeholders
- Conduct regular visits to customers to discuss technical requirements, address concerns, and secure new business opportunities
- Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify market opportunities
- Actively expand the customer portfolio and achieve annual order intake targets
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure technically sound solutions are offered
- Provide customers with detailed technical support and product recommendations
- Deliver product training and conduct technical presentations as needed
- Manage the sales process from lead generation to order fulfillment and after-sales support
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and maintain records of sales activities in the CRM system
- Ensure profitability while maintaining competitive pricing
