Its flagship boutique is in Paris’ 5th arrondissement at 34 Boulevard Saint Germain.


To ensure the next step of our expansion, Diptyque is adding a Senior Manager of Retail Business Development who will oversee and manage lease negotiation for new spaces and renewals as well as contributing to the retail expansion strategy. The Retail Business Development Senior Manager will report directly to the VP of Retail.


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Overseeing lease administration and working through the lease team with existing and new leases
  • Challenging received CAM's
  • Working with property ownerships and management terms
  • Analyzing lease agreements and financial terms
  • Negotiating terms for lease agreements and renewals
  • Partnering with brokers and/or direct landlords
  • Communicating with various teams and departments throughout the negotiating process
  • Working through TI costs/percentages within leases for new spaces for stores
  • Communicating with Legal Counsel as needed
  • Working through process of expansion for various stores
  • Managing lease revisions
  • Coordinating all lease documentation with Administrators
  • Creating financial reporting and analyzing potential transactions
  • Working with VP Retail to develop and analyze the Diptyque North America real estate strategy.
  • Building monthly retail property update presentation.
  • Providing constant markets monitoring updates.

  • Internal and external client satisfaction through perfect planification & execution
  • Effective & profitable Lease & P&L management
  • Relevant and high level quality presentations for Top Management


Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
  • 5+ years in commercial Real Estate Management
  • Luxury beauty or fashion, and retail experience desired
  • Knowledge of the North America retail real estate market
  • Strong ability to negotiate.
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Curiosity and tenacity a real plus
  • Expert Excel & Power point skills
  • Experience developing & executing strategies and plans.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Travel: 70%
