Job Title: Accounting Consultant

Position Overview
Our client is seeking an Accounting Consultant to bring organization and structure to their multiple business entities. With over $100 million in total revenue and several affiliated companies in construction and leasing, we need an experienced professional to support financial reporting, streamline accounting processes, and aid in transitioning from quarterly to monthly closing cycles. This role offers a unique opportunity for someone ready to help take our companies to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage financial statements for various business entities, ensuring accurate quarterly and monthly reporting.
  • Handle accounting for multiple ownership structures across companies, including a construction business and a leasing entity.
  • Support entities lacking substantial accounting oversight, ensuring foundational accounting tasks are in place.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly/quarterly profit and loss statements and other financial reports as needed.
  • Collaborate with in-house accountants and external CPA firms to maintain seamless operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing financial statements and reporting for multi-entity businesses.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to perform complex functions as needed.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and willingness to work in a dynamic, evolving business structure.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
