This Biopharma operates at the forefront of scientific innovation and have successfully developed and commercialized multiple breakthrough therapies for various medical conditions. They have ongoing research programs focused on the underlying mechanisms of serious diseases.


In light of an expanding pipeline and the evolving global market landscape, we are enhancing the Global Market Strategy team. Market Strategy plays a crucial role in ensuring that our innovative therapies reach patients worldwide. The team collaborates across functions and regions to integrate payer insights into commercial and development plans, aiming to expedite patient access to our therapies.


The Global Director of Value & Access will lead Market Access initiatives for chronic indications within our portfolio. They will be responsible for devising Global Market Access strategies and collaborating closely with the Global Commercial Team. This role reports to the Senior Director.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute Global Market Access strategies to optimize value and access for chronic indications within the [therapeutic area] portfolio.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of market access strategies with commercial and development plans.
  • Drive the development of Global Payer Plans, integrating value evidence generation, strategic pricing, and stakeholder engagement to support successful reimbursement and pricing.
  • Ensure that market access and payer perspectives are incorporated into cross-functional strategies.
  • Prioritize evidence generation to support a differentiated product profile and ensure local pricing and access.
  • Partner with Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR), Real-World Evidence (RWE), and Global Marketing to optimize value proposition and evidence plans.
  • Co-lead Global Commercial Teams to develop optimal commercial strategies.
  • Stay informed about changes in market trends, competition, and regulations, and adjust Market Access plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize value and access.


Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry or payer environment.
  • Deep understanding of both US and international healthcare systems; experience in a global role is a plus.
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a sense of urgency to drive results.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; advanced degree preferred.
