Job Description: 

The Business Development Manager will be pivotal in driving our business growth by leveraging their extensive mortgage industry knowledge and technical expertise in mortgage software systems. This role involves strategizing new opportunities, nurturing key relationships, and closing deals that align with our strategic goals.


Responsibilities:

  • Utilize a deep understanding of mortgage industry dynamics and software systems to effectively target and engage potential business partners and clients.
  • Develop enduring relationships with key stakeholders in the mortgage sector.
  • Employ technical knowledge of mortgage software to negotiate and close deals, aligning with strategic business objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align strategies that enhance product offerings and drive revenue growth.
  • Provide insightful reports on market trends, business development activities, and achievements.
  • Keep abreast of developments in mortgage industry software to continuously refine business strategies.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business development, specifically within the mortgage industry or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage processes, regulations, and software systems.
  • Experience in using major mortgage software platforms and understanding their impact on business operations.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a proven ability to establish and nurture valuable business relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical and financial information clearly.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding business targets.
