DACM Project Management, Inc. is a full-service program and project construction management company established in 1987.

Position Overview:

The successful candidate for this position will be assigned to the LAUSD Facilities Program

Position Functions:

The EMS Supervisor will act as the subject matter expert in Energy Management Systems (EMS). This individual will oversee the installation, turnover, and use of our EMS controls systems. The EMS Supervisor will work with the LAUSD Technical Quality Support Team (TQST) and use the EMS to encourage preventative maintenance, identify potential energy conservation measures, and suggest facility improvements

Duties:

1 Perform HVAC Controls Design reviews

2 Perform HVAC Controls Submittal reviews

3 Review utility data and energy usage to identify schools for recommissioning and retro commissioning

4 Review EMS, energy data, and alarms to identify no cost/low-cost energy conservation measures

5 Review EMS, energy data, and alarms to identify preventive maintenance measures

6 Review newly turned over schools’ energy usage versus benchmarks in design to verify performance

7 Assist in updating controls specifications to meet new federal, state or local codes/standards

8 Assist with implementing requirements to allow for integration of other controls systems (Lighting, Irrigation, PV) with EMS

9 Assist in creation of district standard control sequences of operations

10 Assist with drafting Controls shop drawings and sequences of operations for small controls upgrade projects

11 Review of the feasibility of retro commissioning measures

12 Assist in managing In-House Commissioning Projects

13 Performs other duties as assigned

There is also a Senior EMS Technician position available with a salary of $140,000.
