What's this role about?

Account Managers play a crucial role in our growth and are tasked with rapid business expansion within their assigned accounts, responsible for growth, health, and prospects of account relationships. The Account Manager is the end-to-end account owner responsible for overall account P&L and senior client relationships. We need a leader with extensive relationship-building skills, executive connections, and a focus on revenues, operating margin, customer satisfaction, and employee growth and development. Must bring outstanding consulting skills, experience working with Payment clients, preferably with the top tier payment/ network organisations, and a deep appreciation of IT tools, techniques, systems, and solutions.

In this role you will help us:

  1. Drive profitable growth through identifying and leading all aspects of the closure of new, renewal, and expansion opportunities.
  2. Develop client engagement strategies and quantify costs of pursuit.
  3. Lead accountability against Measurable Revenue/Profit Growth within set timelines.
  4. Review the account metrics with the delivery, operations, and finance teams on a regular basis.
  5. Be part of senior management reviews for the performance metrics of the account.
  6. Collaborate with multiple service lines, innovation teams, and business teams in his/her portfolio to formulate and implement a business plan at the account level.
  7. Have regular meetings and collaborate with the customer decision-makers and influencers.


Skills required to contribute:

We’re looking for someone with:

  1. 5+ years of experience in Sales, Account Management roles
  2. Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) and 10+ years of experience working in and/or consulting with Capital Markets clients, preferably with the top tier payment/ network organisations
  3. Experience and working knowledge of various capital Markets sub-domains such as Investment Banking, Investment Management, Retail Brokerage, Wealth Management, Custody and Clearing, Financial Markets etc.
  4. Willing to travel up to 30%
  5. Experience and ability to sell professional services, including digital transformation engagements.
  6. Executive Presence, Exceptional leadership/management skills, Excellent Oral and Written communication skills, Confident Presentation skills
  7. Serve as an expert consultant in business and technology transformation across the broad range of products and services that our clients sell
  8. Strong industry knowledge or experience with particular emphasis on strategy, consulting, team management, and product development
  9. Experience in managing and monitoring performance metrics across large-scale accounts and account portfolios and managing teams.
  10. Ability to lead a client P&L of at least 10+ million dollars, including reporting and metric assessment for the account(s).


Preferred Experience

  1. Background in project and application development/ infrastructure environment
  2. Background in managing relationships with Capital Markets clients
  3. Demonstrable ability to contribute to new business development efforts and to lead and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  4. Must be detail-oriented and able to manage and maintain all facets of complex assignments.
  5. Demonstrable problem-solving abilities with the skills to identify strategic solutions to business problems with enterprise-wide implications.
  6. Demonstrate the flexibility to work among diverse corporate environments, industries, and technical and non-technical audiences.
