Insight Global's consulting client is seeking a Benefits Coordinator to join the team on January 1st, 2025. January through March will be a time to shadow the existing Benefits Coordinator and get brought up to speed before this individual will function independently effective April 1st, 2025. This individual will be managing group benefits and billing administration for 4 clients, processing eligibility, working with insurance vendors, managing operating expenses, and preparing spreadsheets. Resource needs to work onsite in Laurel, MD and have good computer literacy skills and ability to learn new software. Punctuality, organization, and professionalism will be required for this role.


Must Haves:

  • 3+ years of experience in Benefits Administration.
  • Experience with group benefits programs - biggest requirement. Insurance or health care benefits provided by employers for employees, spouses, domestic partners, and their dependents.
  • Experience managing benefits eligibility.
  • Invoicing experience - working with service providers to validate invoices.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite - Word and Excel (basic data management, filtering/ sorting, basic formulas).
  • Great communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working onsite in Laurel, MD.


Plusses:

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR or related space.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment.
  • Experience working with providers such as CareFirst, CVS, NVA, Delta Dental.


Compensation:

$24/hr to $28/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
