Job description

This role involves handling various administrative tasks such as processing invoices, tracking contracts and budgets, managing expense reports, sorting mail, communicating with tax authorities, maintaining the Tax Operations Management System, and assisting with tax returns and filings.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices and expenses, reconciling them to the yearly budget using Excel.
  • Sort and manage incoming mail, scan documents into the designated platform, and share with the Tax team.
  • Assist in responding to inquiries from tax authorities regarding tax notices.
  • Manage the department’s customized Sharepoint site.
  • Prepare tax returns for single-member LLCs and assist with other domestic and international filings.
  • Process and manage check requests for tax-related payments and notices.
  • Ensure tax returns and related filings are mailed with certified receipts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies to improve processes and systems.
  • Strong follow-up skills with the ability to organize timelines and manage internal and external needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present ideas and suggestions.
  • Capability to collaborate with various functional groups and levels of employees to achieve results professionally.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
