SUMMARY

Join our culinary team in Marlborough, Massachusetts where we seek an experienced Executive Chef to lead our restaurant and banquet culinary operations. As the Executive Chef, you'll oversee all aspects of our kitchen, with a primary focus on creating memorable dining experiences for our guests during weekend restaurant service and catering to banquets and events throughout the week.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the culinary team in executing high-quality food preparation and presentation for both restaurant service and banquet events.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop menus tailored to the needs of each event, ensuring seamless execution and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling, to maintain high standards of performance and professionalism.
  • Maintain inventory levels, control costs, and uphold quality standards to meet budgetary goals while delivering exceptional dining experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume culinary operation, preferably within a hotel or banquet setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve culinary excellence.
  • Creativity and innovation in menu development, with a focus on utilizing seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
