The Role\u00A0

\u00A0

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be an integral member of the dynamic AWS squad continuously innovating and improving our enablement platforms and capabilities to accelerate Fidelity s journey to the cloud. You will work on a wide variety of cloud native stacks and technologies, using groundbreaking architectures and services.\u00A0

  • 5-8+ years of experience in Software Engineering and 3+ years of Cloud experience.\u00A0

  • Proven hands-on experience with Java and Python.\u00A0

  • Design and develop Java based application programming interfaces (API's) through SOAP and Restful web services to improve back-end performance of applications.\u00A0

  • Extensive experience working with AWS services like Identity and Access Management, VPCs, Security groups, ELB etc.\u00A0

  • Extensive knowledge on docker containers and ability to understand and implement containerization of applications from scratch.\u00A0

  • Perform CICD (continuous integration and continuous deployment) using tools such as Jenkins for deployment of application docker containers in production and non-prod environments.\u00A0

  • Proven experience working with EKS, RDS and other components of AWS infrastructure for deployment of application using Docker containers and managing their interactions.\u00A0

  • Extensive experience working with Infrastructure as Code (AWS Cloud Formation Templates, Terraform, Azure ARM templates).\u00A0

  • Experience working with Event driven microservice architecture.\u00A0

  • Experience working with Test Automation Frameworks.\u00A0

  • Experience working with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS and front-end programming languages such as Java Script, HTML and CSS.\u00A0

  • Very strong technical curiosity to learn and passionate about new technologies and cloud trends.\u00A0

  • Experience mentoring and coaching engineers on standard methodology and engineering finesse.\u00A0

  • Strong communication and influencing skills.\u00A0

  • Experience working in globally distributed teams.\u00A0

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology or Equivalent.\u00A0

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
