ConsultNet is seeking a Data Center Technician to support an enterprise level client in San Antonio, Texas. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in a data center environment, with an emphasis on a related degree or certifications including, but not limited to Network +, A+ and/or Server +.

Required skills:

• Provide support for new installation and migration of equipment; to include, IT hardware, cables, power distribution, and other ancillary components.

• Conduct necessary maintenance and upgrade of systems requiring changes to infrastructure components.

• Diagnose, repair, replace and/or escort vendors in support of hardware failures and remediation activities.

• Decommission legacy hardware and complete required reconciliation processes.

• Have an operational and reliable personal vehicle.

Preferred skills:

• Related degree or higher in the field of IT

• CompTIA Certifications or equivalent

• Facilities knowledge: HVAC systems, Power Distribution Units, UPS Systems, etc
