Responsible for the reliability of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and process control systems for fermentation, packaging, and utilities areas of operation. Implement process improvements and maintenance of equipment to achieve functionality goals, maximum production capacity and minimize costs.

Capex / Purchasing

Prepare capex demands and supply the detail about costs when establishing. Implement and evaluate the projects/installations when put into operation to ensure the execution of all capex stipulations. Invite tenders, consult with suppliers, and review quotations. Find sources and obtain prices from catalogues or vendors and prepare purchasing orders. Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services for use or for further processing by their establishment. Determine or negotiate contract terms and conditions, award supplier contracts or recommend contract awards with the cooperation of the Maintenance & Reliability Manager and the Senior Project Engineer. Calculate the costs of orders and request payment or code bills to the department concerned. Prepare purchasing files, reports and price lists and keep them up to date.

Cost management

Plan and set the period for executing capital projects, as well as subsequent technical and budget follow-up of such projects, with the cooperation of the Plant Manager and Regional Project Engineering Director. Provide project cost controls including forecasts, cash flow projections and regular budget reporting. Evaluate industrial installations and assets. Participate in cost reduction waste team. Collect all data required to the team. Work with colleagues in the team to reach objectives. Work with employees to identify and reduce waste.

Environment, Health, and Safety

Develop and implement environment, health, and safety programs (recycling, confined space, lock-out tag-out, hot work, etc.). Maintain clear signing of dangerous products/areas of plant and surrounding areas. Ensure that employees are working in safe conditions and have all the safety equipment needed to accomplish their duties. Drive Prevention Response Program. Assist in various Environmental and Health & Safety projects. Encourage safe behaviors and promote working in a safe environment. Reduce waste to a minimum. Respect environmental regulation. Report all waste to environmental responsible. Assist the Health and Safety Committee.

Human Resources

Comply with corporate HR policy and procedures. Comply with Union Contract policy and procedures. Comply with applicable laws.

Coverage

Cover maintenance and engineering management positions as required.

Other

Other duties as assigned. Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices

Qualifications

A COMBINATION OF THE LISTED skills and knowledge IS PREFERRED

15-year experiences in manufacturing plant in areas of process control, engineering, or maintenance. Technically savvy in configuration, implementation, and maintenance of control systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Working knowledge of manufacturing machinery and equipment. 10-year experiences in project management. Knowledge of the manufacturing industry Knowledge of electricity Knowledge in accounting and budgeting. Good AutoCAD skills Good Windows skills (Excel, Word, etc.) Good oral and written communication skills. team spirit, dynamic, innovative, results-oriented, and autonomous. Able to work well and collaborate effectively with all employees.
