St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is in search of a proficient Biomedical Service Engineer specializing in Diagnostic Imaging Equipment. This position focuses on the upkeep and repair of both Ionizing and Non-Ionizing Radiation producing devices, particularly CT and MRI systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver maintenance support and execute repairs on Diagnostic Imaging apparatus
  • Perform quality assurance evaluations and calibrate machinery
  • Make informed decisions regarding the procurement of electronic components and testing devices
  • Document equipment maintenance records and generate reports
  • Engage in the acquisition and installation of new equipment
  • Conduct safety assessments on devices
  • Support MRI Safety-related tasks
  • Foster positive interactions with staff and visitors
  • Carry out additional related tasks as required

Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma is mandatory
  • Associate Degree in a relevant Technical discipline is preferred
  • Experience in the repair and maintenance of biomedical devices is advantageous

Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of five (5) years in the biomedical or clinical engineering sector is essential

Compensation:

The estimated salary for the Biomedical Service Engineer role is approximately $67.00 per hour.
