Solve Problems : Develop and implement action plans based on fleet performance, ensuring we’re always one step ahead in solving challenges and maximizing opportunities. Be the Go-To Leader : Serve as the primary point of contact for all onboard resource requirements, from cabins and logistics to funding, always ensuring smooth operations. Manage with care : Prioritize and oversee the $70M+ annual marine capital plan, ensuring alignment with the broader brand strategy while driving the highest return on investment. Collaborate : Partner with other GMO functions (Safety, Technical, Decarbonization, etc.) and across the organization (Newbuild, HR, and other departments) to deliver operational consistency and excellence. Measure What Matters : Oversee the management of the fleet’s balanced scorecard and compensation processes, ensuring targets are met and the fleet’s performance stays ahead of the curve. Master Communicator : Lead strategic communications between marine operations and the fleet, ensuring clarity and alignment across the board. Change Agent : Take on additional responsibilities as needed, ensuring flexibility in driving marine operations forward under the direction of the AVP GMO Strategy, SVP Marine Operations, or other senior leadership.Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, finance, marketing, engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. 10-12 years of experience in a senior business management role, ideally in the travel or leisure industry.
