What you'll do:

The IT Knowledge Management (ITKM) Analyst/Administrator serves as a technical writer and content administrator, ensuring the organization’s body of knowledge is organized and maintained to facilitate use by internal customers and is consistent with industry and company regulations, standards, and best practices. The ITKM Analyst/Administrator helps maintain that each document adheres to proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, voice, and branding practices, and is categorized and stored accordingly.

Responsibilities:

Creation, organization, maintenance, and archiving of articles and spaces in Confluence for efficient and effective collaborative knowledge curation and retrieval. Assists in the creation of documentation and other reference materials in support of IT projects and serves as a knowledge resource for other IT teams leveraging Confluence. Administration of ServiceNow as a knowledge management center, ensuring accuracy, completeness, consistency, and auditability of existing knowledge bases. Receives, processes, and completes requests for new and existing knowledge base, and ensures articles adhere to company and regulatory standards. Identifies content that needs to be created, clarified, updated, recategorized, or archived. May serve as a Contributor, Author, or Owner of any document as applicable. Performs a range of technical writing, document management, and administrative tasks, sometimes complex and non-routine, in a variety of environments, as assigned by the IT Knowledge Manager.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years Knowledge Management and/or Technical Writing experience. Working knowledge of documentation regulations, standards, and best practices. Degree in English or an IT-related discipline, or equivalent in years of related experience. Ability to manage multiple high-priority efforts and flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules, and priorities. Self-driven to achieve goals independently as well as work in groups. Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and changing business requirements. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in ServiceNow, Confluence (or similar collaborative “wiki”-style environment), and the Microsoft suite of tools.
