No sponsorship availableThe CRM Platform Director will further the advancement of CRM systems (SUGAR CRM and other Key technologies) across the entire company (with a heavy emphasis on North America).  The role will report into the CMO. The role will collaborate frequently with the head of global marketing and leadership within each operating unit of the global company.

The organization delivers cores solutions to our B2B customers around the world.  The utilize Sugar CRM.
Candidates must have a high level of maturity and will have supported end user communities with CRMS use and projects that are significant in scope and impact.  An emphasis will be placed specifically on CRMS user experience, advancement/growth projects and overall CRMS enterprise user and technical support.  Incumbents will possess a deep and thorough knowledge of the CRM software, platforms and processes and have a consulting mindset when it comes to assisting users and teams meet business requirements with SUGAR CRM system and support SUGAR CRM system usage goals and solve CRMS problems. The preferred candidate will have a thorough working knowledge of and passion for improving prospecting, marketing, qualifying, conversion/closing (sales and pipeline) work processes with leading edge technology. The candidate must have a demonstrated history and ability of working with all levels of a company’s employees and especially with senior business developers.  Collaboration with the Chief Marketing Officer day-to-day and take technical direction from Chief Technology Officer for technology development, cyber security, system integration, data governance and overall technical platform strategy, changes, and direction.

Responsibilities:
  • Be a primary contributor and owner of CRM use and systems strategy
  • Be the primary point of contact and technical problem solver for  use and optimization of The CRM platform.
  • Be the primary point of contact and technical problem solver for  Operating Company business use and optimization of CRM.
  • Maintain and support all the business processes implemented in The CRM platform.
  • Understand and own the CRM integration environment and connectivity to other used systems (e.g., Workday)
  • Coordinate all technical change to The CRM platform between Marketing and Business Units
  • Ensure that system/product risks are identified, understood, and are managed throughout The CRM platform lifecycle
  • Own and support all platform product related technical questions, problem solving, training, technical deployment knowledge and use
  • Own, understand and support users in the creation and management of CRM system custom reports and dashboards
  • Own, understand and support the technical administrative functions within The CRM platform
  • Own, understand and support the data collection and management functions within the CRM platform
  • Own, understand and support user teams in requirements analysis, design, solutioning, testing of system adds/improvements or changes
  • Assemble and coordinate external resources when necessary to solve user problems and/or meet . system requirements in a timely manner
  • Manage smaller CRM implementation and improvement projects over time.
  • Day-to-day coordination and management of the. CRM help desk (Solution TBD)
  • Coordinate and support the CRM security function with.’s IT Security and Compliance manager
  • Create and own the budget for CRM Systems
  • Ensure CRM contracted liabilities, obligations and technical rights are understood and controlled on a day-to day basis.
  • Prepares requests for proposals and helps to conduct necessary meetings to facilitate selection of products, services and skills needed to support  use of CRM Systems whenever necessary.
  • Reports to Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and takes technical direction from Chief Technology Officer for platform and software advancements/changes. Works with Businesses to ensure adequate resources are applied to SUGAR’s day-to-day use and long-term success at .

  • Deep and demonstrated knowledge and experience with CRM Systems and Processes at all levels
  • Consistent performer with excellent communication and professional skills in understanding user process requirements and translating them to CRM system/platform and technical solutions
  • Knowledge of and passion for continually improving CRM business processes
  • Aptitude and passion for understanding and sharing new and emerging CRM technical best practices across businesses to ensure competitive advantage in business development and customer acquisition/service activities.
  • Deep knowledge of CRM sales, marketing and business development processes at an enterprise and business unit level
  • Excellent consultative and team oriented problem-solving skills
  • Skill in training and explaining CRM system capabilities to end users.
  • Strong and demonstrated Program and Project Management Skills
  • Skill in planning and preparing written communications around CRM use.
  • Skill in technical planning of CRM system improvement projects.
  • Skill in working with groups to build consensus around CRM solutions.
  • Skill in effectively serving a varied, divergent and demanding customer base.
  • High degree of skill and experience working with senior business developers
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel including department management and system end users.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related fields
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience supporting CRM technology business requirements
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of supporting CRM Systems in a technical and/or end user capacity
  • Knowledge of SUGAR CRM system technology is a definite plus
  • Excellent communication skills at/with all levels of staff and management
