Purpose

This non-exempt temporary position reports to Truck Business Planning Group CSR Lead and is responsible for shipment order entry, pickup and delivery appointment scheduling and track and tracing.

Responsibilities

Entering Shipment Orders into Nippon Express’ Transportation Management System TMW. Check Calls to drivers for track and trace & GPS set up. Update account managers on any issues that arise helping to create and execute solutions.  Calling shippers and consignees to schedule pickup and delivery appointments. Request & retrieve POD’s, backup paperwork, etc. from vendors. Maintain professional and courteous customer service relations with associates and carriers. Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, carrier and company information. Support management and staff in assigned project-based work. Other duties as assigned by management.

Outstanding interpersonal skills Excellent phone and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with diverse personalities, Enthusiastic team player. Self-motivated, able to work independently. Strong attention to details & organize. Exceptional computer skills Organizational skills Excellent customer service skills Ability to problem-solve Flexibility with hours and available to work any OT Diligent in following SOP’s Word, Excel skills

Organization Relationships:

This position will report to a Supervisor/Manager. This position does not directly supervise any staff.
