What's the role?
The Automotive Technician will run diagnostic tests and perform basic repairs and routine maintenance on both domestic and foreign cars and light trucks with occasional box truck or larger pickup work. Typical job duties include checking fluid levels, rotating tires, changing oil and other fluids, and replacing batteries and belts. You must also be familiar with steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning systems. Ideally, candidates have extensive automotive repair experience, and mechanical skills and are ASE certified. This role involves providing estimates and explaining repairs to customers, so you also need to have excellent customer service skills.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Strong experience in an Automotive Technician role
- General mechanical skills
- Customer service skills for interacting with customers
- ASE certification preferred
- Valid driver's license
What will my schedule look like?
Shop hours are 7a-5:30p with a steady 40-45 hour per week schedule including a 12-1 unpaid lunch- no weekends or nights
