Responsibilities:

 Partner with Business Leadership and Strategy to translate creative briefs and develop thoughtful, conceptual, integrated campaigns inclusive of video, print and digital/social

Lead and participate in discussions regarding brand behaviors, client insights, and analytics and data; knowing when to adjust approach as needed

Actively present creative work to internal teams, partnering up with account and client leads on new projects

Carry projects from initial creative concept through execution and release

Creatively lead on-set production for video, print and digital/social in partnership with production and execution teams

Collaborate with producers, directors, animators, designers, writers and strategists

Team up with innovation leads on modern production techniques and capture inclusive of AI

Manage multiple projects simultaneously while keeping key stakeholders updated on progress

Qualifications:

A minimum of 8 years of creative direction expertise; most recent 3+ years in a leadership role within an agency, or in-house agency setting, and preferably with well-known, consumer facing brands

 A clear and elevated sense of style and craft, high taste level, and forward-thinking mindset; you see a barrier and want to break it

A thoughtful bias towards details balanced with big picture conceptual skills

A deep well of knowledge around various design, film and visual arts aesthetics inclusive of social and digital culture, as well as industry trends and competitors

Autonomous self-starter who is successful at managing multiple projects without swirl, and comfortable with pivots and tight timelines

Innate ability to nurture, inspire, and challenge everyone around them with equal parts expectation and empathy

Proven history of building, leading, and motivating teams to create their best work

A proactive and collaborative approach; you love working with people and people love working with you

Strong, clear perspective with equally impactful communication style, both written and verbal

Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and Workfront

Special Factors: This role is part of our hybrid work model with Tuesdays – Thursdays required in our offices to foster collaboration and relationships. On Mondays and Fridays, our crew will have the option to work remotely, or continue working from one of our office in Malvern PA. Vanguard offers both renter and homeowner relocation packages for this role.
