- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company’s business goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on all HR-related matters.
- Lead organizational development initiatives to enhance company performance.
- Design, implement, and manage comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring timely and cost-effective hiring.
- Work with marketing to develop employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice.
- Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes employee engagement and retention.
- Address and resolve employee relations issues promptly and effectively.
- Implement programs to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and oversee performance management systems that support the growth and development of employees.
- Provide guidance on setting performance standards and conducting performance reviews.
- Implement training and development programs to support employee growth.
- Work with an outside broker to design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Regularly review and update compensation structures to remain competitive.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures.
- Manage employee records and ensure data confidentiality.
- Develop and track HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on HR-related metrics and trends.
- Use data to drive HR strategies and improve organizational performance.
- Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure the HR team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Promote collaboration and teamwork within the HR department.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive HR experience with a family owned, professional services or partnership company which has an employee count exceeding 50 employees, with at least 3-5 years in a senior HR leadership role.
- A firm and goal-oriented leadership style that also motivates, trains, and engages others in an enthusiastic way towards achieving a common goal.
- Ability to build rapport and relationships with individuals and groups.
- An outgoing, poised, and persuasive communication style with the ability to convey information clearly, effectively and appropriately.
- Strong initiative and a sense of competitive drive with the ability to stay focused on results despite changing conditions and priorities.
- Strong emphasis is on results, and effective systems that achieve results through and with people.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives, in a practical and timely fashion
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
