Communications Specialist

The Communications Specialist is responsible for producing engaging written, graphic and multimedia content for the global organization as well as managing projects and supporting the communications department through administrative functions such as ordering materials and premiums, creating requisitions, managing shipping or delivery of items to their destination and more. The Communications Specialist will support the global internal and external communications team of Florida Crystals-ASR Group.

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan, develop, conduct interviews, write and edit news articles and blog posts about activities within the company to share internally and externally Develop compelling graphics and video for digital, print and social media Support all corporate communications, including company intranet, company websites, memoranda, internal email communication, digital signage, social media and other print/digital mediums that may assist in successfully communicating messages Ensure consistency between all internal and external communications Coordinate with various stakeholders to drive messages and promote employee engagement Assist the Communications team, including project management, ordering materials and premiums, creating requisitions, managing shipping and delivery of items to events and meetings, scheduling meetings, attending events and more Support the department as a team player Some nights and weekends required

WORK EXPERIENCES

Must have 2-3 years of relevant experience in corporate communications (internal, external or a combination) Demonstrated capability in writing and producing graphic and video content. Experience writing engaging messages and communication campaigns Experience with company intranet, preferably SharePoint  Demonstrated ability to be a team player

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations or Marketing required.
