Job Summary:
Peter Boulware Toyota, a leading automotive dealership located in Tallahassee, Florida, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our facility.
As the Facility Manager, you will ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of our building and grounds.
This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry, with the opportunity for growth and advancement within our organization.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program for all facility equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Oversee all repairs and maintenance work, ensuring timely completion and quality control
- Manage and maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and tools needed for facility maintenance
- Coordinate and manage all outside contractors and vendors, including negotiating contracts, monitoring their work, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Conduct routine inspections of the facility and address any safety hazards or issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs, including costs and schedules
- Monitor and manage facility budgets, including expense forecasting and cost-saving initiatives
- Train and supervise a team of custodial and maintenance staff
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to building codes, safety, and environmental standards
- Assist with other duties and projects as assigned by upper management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in facilities management or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in the automotive industry
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and repair processes
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks as needed
