Accounting Assistant
Location: Danvers, MA
Pay Rate: $25/hour
Schedule: Full Time, Monday – Friday
Contract Type: Temporary to Hire

Kelly Services has recently partnered with a premier company in the manufacturing industry seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their team. The Accounting Assistant will assist with various accounting and administrative tasks to ensure the smoother operation of the office. Apply today for immediate consideration

Duties:
  • Entering of vendor purchase orders for customer orders and matching acknowledgements.
  • Following up on the purchase orders for deliveries.
  • Matching packing slip receivers with bills.
  • Entering in employee time sheets.
  • Entering in customer purchase orders.
  • Writing up packing slips for jobs being shipped and billing jobs out.
  • Collecting W9's and Certificates of Insurance from vendors and entering information into QuickBooks and updating Certificates when needed.
  • Ordering office supplies and shop supplies.
  • Reconciling of freight bills.
  • Provide back-up assistance for phones.
  • Handle shipping tasks via FedEx, UPS and DHL.
  • Assisting with setting up for vendor meetings and ordering food.
  • Sending out 401K notices as necessary.
  • Additional administrative duties such as scanning, copying, etc.

Qualifications:
  • Proficiency using QuickBooks and MS Excel
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in accounting
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
