Candidates should have excellent customer service skills, be detail oriented and be able to work productively in a team environment. This job requires the ability to multi-task and prioritize with a high degree of accuracy. Knowledge of the medical field and of insurance is a plus. Tasks will include appointment scheduling, answering multi-line phones, reconciling charges, insurance verification, obtaining pre-authorizations and general office administrative work.

Primary job duties will be in person screening of patients. This PSR will need to be thorough in asking and checking information to ensure the patients' safety before entering an MRI or CT scan. Volume of phone calls will be lower than other PSRs' expectations

Provide exemplary customer service Greet and direct patients, sales personnel and visitors.  Check in/verify information for established and new patients, confirm insurance/referral, consent forms and all patient information are up to date in practice management software and electronic medical record systems Identify payor source, verify insurance eligibility and financial status Enter personal health information and financial information into practice management system with a high rate of accuracy; complies with federal and local laws to ensure patient privacy Assist patients with completion of paperwork when necessary Inform patients of delay or wait time for appointments Review records for completeness, print necessary updates and put records in order Review physician clinic schedule for accuracy Collect and post co-pays Facilitate flow of patients by coordinating with medical assistants Schedule appointments, both over the phone and in person Schedule interpreters for patient appointments as needed Process outgoing referrals as needed Complete duties and assist others as directed Must follow all policies as introduced during new associate On-Boarding, updated real time and outlined in Associate Handbook

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must have:

attendance and effective communication skills ability to be flexible and change in the moment take ownership on any problems 1 year of customer service experience 1 year of receptionist experience

Nice to have:

Work Environment:

Issaquah, WA Team of 5 Clinical Setting Shift: 4x10s closing shift - will move to covering weekend shifts end of September
