Job Title: Patient Services Representative

Job Summary

The Patient Services Representative is the first point of contact for our patients and their loved ones. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service, manage patient appointments, and ensure seamless access to our physicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service to patients, vendors, and visitors
  • Schedule patient appointments, verify insurance and eligibility, and ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Answer multiline phone system, screen calls, and direct messages to staff or physicians
  • Enter patient information into practice management systems with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Assist patients with check-in, paperwork, and forms as needed
  • Communicate appointment status, wait times, and cancellations or rescheduling
  • Collect and post co-pays, coinsurances, and balances due on patient accounts
  • Facilitate patient flow by coordinating with medical assistants and clinical teams
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in public contact, preferably in a medical office environment
  • Minimum 1-year front office or reception experience, medical preferred
  • Practice Management experience (desired)
