Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for a Senior Preconstruction Manager to join our team

Some things you can expect to do:

Successfully develop concept through final GMP estimatesDeep involvement in creation and pricing of site logistics plansPerform quantity take-offs of key construction systemsCreate project estimates individually and with a teamSolicit subcontractor pricing for budgeting and bid proposals through use of Building ConnectedDevelopment of project specific bid documentsScope and select subcontractors based on best value and project requirementsBuild and develop local cost intelligenceSupport the development, architectural, and construction team with preconstruction expertise including design management, value design, cost tracking through design evolution, procurement, and project pursuitsProvide leadership and mentorship to estimators and Project Management staffProvide direction for understanding project scope, market pricing, and available resourcesAssist clients and developers with conceptual budgets of all types of constructionCapable of cost modeling using Uniformat II and CSI

To be successful in this role, you must have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architectural, or Construction Management and at least 10 years of proven experience in the commercial construction industry (industrial, healthcare, retail, office, senior living and/or multifamily experience preferred).

Understand construction means and methods, building types, and procurement methodsHave proficiency with CSI and Uniformat II work breakdown structuresDemonstrate deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel, OST, Bluebeam, Destini, Building Connected and MS ProjectBring well established subcontractor and designer relationships to the organization
